The Girls' Brigade
The Girls’ Brigade is a worldwide organisation of girls and women. It is a weekly program that is run “Just for Girls!” It is chock full of fun things that girls love to do!
Girls Brigade meets each week and girls regularly take part in crafts, games, camps and outings, but are also challenged through discovering more about God, serving in the Community and learning leadership and living skills.
At all times girls are in the care of trained and competent leaders in a safe environment. The caring Christian environment encourages the development of each girl’s individual talents while equipping them with social, physical, intellectual and spiritual skills needed to find true enrichment in life.
Girls Brigade provides programs for girls aged from 5 to 18. Girls in school years K to 2 are called Cadets, Years 3 to 6 are Juniors, Years 7 to 8 are the Seniors and Years 9 to 12 are Pioneers.
